In one of the most beautiful seaside villages of our island, Agia Pelagia, we have built a small family business, 110m away from the sea.

Our hotel has been renovated in 2008, and has independent balconies in all of its rooms, overlooking the sea.
"Kythira Golden Sun" provides free WiFi. All units feature a TV, air condition and hair dryer. The nearest airport is Kithira Island National Alexandros Aristotelous Onassis, 16 km from the property.

The Lorentzou beach

Looking at the sea from the village of Agia Pelagia, towards our right hand, there are several beaches, one of which is the "Lorentzou" beach. This beach is located between "Fyrri Ammos" and "Kakia Lagada", and it's is one of the major beaches of the island of Kythira, with crystal clear waters, sand and pebbles. Bathing in the Lorentzou beach, you will have in front of you the view of "Kavo Malia" in the Peloponnese, and behind you the "Kakia Lagada" gorge, from which the pirate Haireddin Barbarossa invaded the island, in 1537, fropm the city which existed then at the top of the gorge.

The "Fyrri Ammos" beach

This is one of the two beaches on the island called "Fyrri Ammos". It is located a short distance from the village of Agia Pelagia and, as its name suggests in greek, most of it has red sand and pebbles. It is easy to reach this beach: you turn right just before entering the village, and after about 1 km of asphalt road and dirt road, you will find the beach on your left.
